The Mingan Archipelago is the ideal place for observing many marine mammals. An exit to the Gulf of St Lawrence and you may be lucky enough to observe all these species: the blue whale, the humpback whale, fin whale, dolphins and porpoises. In addition, nearly 12 species of seabirds forming 35 000 couples also frequent the archipelago that offers them nesting sites safe from predators.
